This is a Korean-to-Romanized converter powered by the open-source project KOROMAN.
At SnuMenu, it is used to generate English names for menu items when official English translations are unavailable.
It follows the Official Romanization of Korean as proclaimed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (Notice No. 2000-8).
Instead of converting syllable by syllable, the system decomposes each Hangul syllable into consonants and vowels, applies Korean phonological rules—such as assimilation, palatalization, and initial sound (dueum) rules—to produce accurate romanizations.
