Hangul(Korean) Romanization Tool

This is an online Hangul(Korean)-Roman letter notation converter based on standard Romanization rules. [Ministry of Culture & Tourism Notice No. 2000-8]
It separates a single Korean character into consonants and vowels and converting them. So it supports most of the Korean pronunciation rules.
SnuMenu uses this conversion method to display Korean menu in english mode.

• 해돋이 -> haedoji (O), haedodi (X)
• 선릉역 -> seolleungyeok (O), seonreungyeok (X)
• 역량 -> yeongnyang (O), yeokryang (X)
• 굳이 -> guji (O), gudi (X)

In the case of specific names or proper nouns, the common English notation and Romanization may not match.

• 박지성 (Park Jisung) -> Bak Jiseong
• 김치 (Kimchi) -> Gimchi
